Legal action against Major General Doron Almog

The federation of European Jews for a Just Peace (EJJP) wishes to express its full support and appreciation for the action taken by Hickman & Rose Solicitors to the complaint filed by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights against Major General (res.) Doron Almog for the for the massive destruction of buildings and houses in the Gaza Strip, making thousands of Palestinian refugees homeless. This reprehensible act has caused him to be accused in Great Britain of war crimes.

Furthermore, EJJP wishes to state its view that the State of Israel be judged by the same norms as any other State and that war crimes committed by officers and soldiers of an occupying power in contravention of international law should be judged accordingly, that is, with utmost severity.
