Solidarity with Yoni Ben Artzi

Court martial of Yoni Ben Artzi, 28 July 2003

On the occasion of the resumption of the court martial of Yoni Ben Artzi on July 29, 2003, we wish to let him have an expression of all our support and solidarity.
While writing this short note, we came to know that five non-violent protesters have been injured when IDF soldiers attacked a demonstration against the separation wall with tear gas and rubber bullets.
This terrible news can only strengthen our firm belief that with their brave and generous struggle for a peaceful alternative to Israeli militarism, Yoni and his fellow refusniks are drawing a moral "road map" showing Israeli society the only way along which a just and durable peace can be achieved.
